Our friend and DMTRG committee member David Steele presided over an impressive booth for his American Hot Rod Foundation at the Grand National Roadster Show, this last weekend Jan 30 – Feb 1. Pride of place was for Rob Manson’s priceless and historic Baldwin Payne Special, silver and black in our photos with the race number 543 which he trailered down from Carmel Valley.

The Grand National Roadster Show is now in its 76th year. Once known as the Oakland Roadster Show, it is the longest running indoor car show in the world! Produced at the Fairplex in Pomona for the 21st consecutive year. Over 500 show vehicles competed for awards. Another 400-800 vehicles joined the event each day for the 20th Annual Grand Daddy Drive-In.
