This is the Trophy that Bill Pollack took home after winning the Del Monte Handicap Sunday Main Race at the 1951 Pebble Beach Road Races. He drove Tom Carsten’s Allard J2 Cadillac to victory, a feat that he was to repeat the following year. The photo shows Pollack’s trophy on a chess board.
