Nice wrap-up report from Skip Barber on the Lime Rock Historic Festival we raced at on the Labor day weekend.
“What a weekend it was! We had much to be grateful for in 2025. It was a good year, thanks to you, our competitors, who filled nearly every race group at Historic Festival 43. A reflection of this is that we had drivers from 32 states, 24 came from California, not including the Ragtime Racers. Many people (spectators, fans, participants, sponsors, vendors, employees and volunteers) told us this was the best year ever!
“We ran our normal race groups, plus the Del Monte Trophy Group, which we added to our War Era class. We had a full paddock which included the Ragtime Racers and the Del Monte Trophy Group. The paddock displays were stepped up and included cars from Rob Dyson and Ernie Boch’s Collections. The end result was, I believe, that we have recaptured our traditional position as second only to Monterey Historics. Thank you for being a part of this.
